
Amanda Louise Holden, born on the 16th of February, 1971 is an English actor and media persona. She has served as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on Monday mornings. Holden was raised in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent a good portion of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden is also a part of TV credits, including three series featuring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham on the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes on ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield, and a special Agatha Christie episode "4.50 from Paddington" for Boxing Day. Co-starring with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Alongside Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she joined the show.
