Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She's appeared in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project and is a major part of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. In GITOC, her work focuses on assassinations in contexts that involve illegal economics. The research she conducts also focuses on the influence of criminal organizations in relation to human rights, as well as law and policy. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also has the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer encompasses four years of experience with a firm specializing in public law litigation. She has also held a range of positions as an assistant at both non-government organizations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
