Awkwafina is an American actress and musician. Her first release was hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity as well as sexuality. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first musical experience. She was a trumpet player. She also received classical and jazz training later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies in college even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. She didn't start focusing on music until after she graduated. After gaining viral fame on the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in the year 2015, and was an additional idea. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. The singer was seeking to expand her career into acting. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed several notable performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
