Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian performer and musician who has released hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. As a young, accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of the top selling artists. Her parents hail from Barbados and she began singing as a child. As a result of the chaos that surrounded her family and the arguments that her parents had with each other, she turned to music. She soon decided that she was going to become a singer. When she was in high school, she started a group of musicians and was able to meet the music producer Evan Rodgers. He was amazed by her talents. The singer made the move into New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna made her first album and was an overnight sensation. The young people loved her upbeat songs, which encouraged Rihanna's to produce movies. Today, she's a teenager idol and the fashion icon. Rihanna uses her fame for charity and regularly contributes to various organizations.
